Hi there!
It has been a while since my last giveaway. I have been busy creating new designs and today I want to offer this beautiful pair of shoe clips. The giveaway is only for the clips and does not include the shoes. They are removable and will not damage your shoes or your feet. They are the perfect complement for a special night. Whimsical and show stoppers, these shoe clips look great when clipped on the front, on the back or on the side of your shoes.

Recycling Fashion Magazines How to
I love fashion magazines and for that reason I subscribe to several of them. I enjoy reading their articles and getting ideas on current fashion trends. My problem is what to do with them once I have read them. An idea occurred to me when I was preparing for a craft show. I didn't have a budget to buy bags to give to customers, so I came with the idea of making my own envelopes using fashion magazine pages. I didn't use all of them in the crafts show and I started using them to mail my orders from my Etsy shop.
To make them, take four pages and sew them together, leaving one side open and you have a very unique and beautiful envelope. I also like covering boxes with the pages because they are more beautiful and fun. So far my clients love them and I am very pleased to make them.
Here are some pictures showing the process of making these that you might use for your own business. The packages are beautiful and in addition they help recycle something that otherwise would go straight to the landfill.

Time for Floral Shoes. How to make yours
I love shoes and for a while I wanted to buy a floral pair for spring and summer. After browsing around I realized "why not make my own?"
Here are some that inspired me
from: Constanze Gonzalez and Paul Schere

$594
From Kindredsole $49.50
And here is my gift to you, so you can make your own very unique pair of floral shoes.
1- find a pair of shoes. I chose those because they are very light and comfortable.
2- pull them apart
1- find a pair of shoes. I chose those because they are very light and comfortable.
2- pull them apart
3-find a very pretty fabric
4- cut the pieces and add some interfacing for a better shape. I cut long bands because I like to put them several times around my leg and also have enough to make a bow.
5- sew the pieces together
6- I also made with the same fabric a couple of flowers to decorate the shoes
7- I covered the soles with the same fabric
8- when I was all set, I realized that I had no more glue :( I went to the store and bought super glue :)
9- I glued them carefully and to gave the proper shape I used my own feet as a template. I let them dry overnight.......... I today......... I wore them to work!!!
What do you think??
