Yes we can!!!!!!

Yes we can!
For more that 50 years, my little island, Cuba and the U.S. haven't had good relations. These tensions affect the daily lives of millions of Cubans. It is time to end this chapter forever. We can do something to change the future of millions of human beings. That is why we ask you through this blog to sign the petition for Michelle Obama visit to Cuba, and change forever the fate of the island. She can do a lot, just with going. She has all the power to do so and if she want to, no one should stopped her . If this happens, I'm sure that will change forever the destiny and mark a new future for Cuba and Cubans.

Do the right thing, your help is important now! To sign the petition here.

Helping Cuban People!!!!!!

As a Cuban I feel the desperation of thousands of people who have lost their homes through the 3 hurricanes, Fay, Gustav and Ike, that have so far beaten to Cuba. The images are devastating, not much need to see how the Cuban people that suffer because of this.

The UN estimates the cost of the damage at between $3bn-$4bn.

That's why during the month of September to 50% of all sales of my stores in Etsy will be donated to Cubans who have been affected by the strong impact of nature.

You also can make a direct donations at:

-Jewish Solidarity is accepting check donations to the attention of Maricusa, 100 Beacom Blvd., Miami, FL, 33135. Check should be marked "Humanitarian Relief."

-Catholic Charities/Caritas Cubanas is accepting check donations made out to Catholic Relief Services, PO Box 17090, Baltimore, MD 21203-7090. Checks should be marked "For Cuba Gustav Relief.

-"The Daughters of Charity is accepting food donations at 500 NW 63rd Ave. in Miami. Needed items include powdered and evaporated milk, canned hot dogs and packaged red beans, lentils and black beans.

Handmade Dolls Made By My Mom

My mom is a very creative and talented person. When I was a little kid she made us all our clothes to my two sisters and me. Beautiful dresses, trousers, skirts, even underwear. I inherit my creativity from her and I feel so much pride in that. For several years she has been dedicated to making rag dolls and possibly the number of dolls that she has made so far are close to 1000. Here are a small sample of her work. You can find them in my store Muapurses.
