Playing With Feathers

Since I came from Cuba in 2005 I've been amazed by the variety and quantity of supplies of all kinds to stimulate creativity. As I am a person who enjoys creating new pieces almost every day, shopping at one of these craft stores is like a paradise to me. Like a kid in a toy store! I have to admit that the feathers are one of my favorite materials for my creations and peacock feathers are the number one for me. Here are some of my latest special creations for weddings and formal events and why not? My First Hand Dyed Project!

For weeks I had the idea to dye some fabric that I have to use them to make pieces for the winter. It is a cotton knit that looks great for dying. I do not know much about painting fabric, which I learned experimenting with clothes that I've wanted to change the color. This is a new adventure I started yesterday when I decided to make my first attempts. Here I want to show how my process goes.
